A storyteller from the start, Katherine developed a love and passion for writing that began in childhood. Her ability to communicate and tell stories well led her into a rewarding career in public relations, where she has been representing clients globally for over 25 years. Working with some of the best of the best in the hospitality industry, Katherine has been telling the stories of leading hotels, destinations, spas, resorts, travel companies, and more.

With a versatile background and a strong focus on destination marketing, wellness, sustainability, food and beverage, luxury lifestyles, and more, Katherine represented the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority single-handedly for a year and a half, generating far-reaching press coverage in the U.S. for the vibrant Caribbean island. One of her defining achievements with the SLTA was securing a cover feature story on the front page of the travel section of The San Diego Union-Tribune. This story was syndicated to over 60 daily newspapers throughout the U.S. in print and digital versions. The PR Value from this one article equaled approximately $157,200 USD with a print circulation of over 527,059 and online unique visitors per month of 48,807,176. As a female entrepreneur, Katherine has represented women-owned and women-founded companies including Traveling Spoon, Naya Traveler, Eat Like a Local Mexico City, Casa Delphine, Wild Terrains, and others.

A highly motivated and skilled media relations strategist, Katherine’s PR campaigns for clients have resulted in an array of coverage in top-tier outlets in the U.S., Canada, and around the world. Katherine is highly regarded and well-respected by both North American media and travel industry colleagues as a trusted communications professional who values loyalty and integrity and represents clients to the best of her abilities. She graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations. She is an active participant in the Cornell University Women’s Leadership in Hospitality Mentorship Program, providing opportunities for undergraduate students at the Nolan School of Hotel Administration to learn from leading and successful women in the food, beverage, and hospitality industry.
